If We Only Saw Each Other

Ancient pictures of haunted faces
Separation of different races
The blood that flows through him’s in you
And the streets she’s walked, you’ve walked too
Pigment doesn’t bare your soul
And “different” doesn’t state your role
So if you say you’re like no other
Sometimes look to one another
…If we only saw each other
